eSIM

The Embedded-SIM (eSIM) adopts the technology of embedding the pluggable SIM card of the traditional communication into the device chip. The eSIM currently used by operators is based on the GSMA series standard, and uses the uniform protocol with reference to the main SGP.22/SGP.02 and related specifications Eastcompeace has completed the development of eSIM products and passed the GSMA SAS UP and SM certifications.

eSIM product features
The biggest technical feature of eSIM is that subscribers will no longer banding to one single operators and can switch operators autonomously at any time without considering the need to change terminals.
Compared with the traditional SIM card mode, eSIM v can be embedded to the devices with smaller size, it will save the physical card size from the devices and another advantage is that the eSIM have enhanced the security. It will be an inevitable trend of the future development of the communications industry.

Consumer Electronics Manufacturers (Standard NC20 Series)
The eSIM products of Eastcompeace are provided in various specifications (plug-in or SMD packaging) and are easy to be integrated into any kind of devices, for example, mobile phones, PADs, watches and so on. This can free up more space for electronic manufacturers. The use of eSIM technology will make the overall design of a mobile phone more streamlined, because it is not necessary to specifically design a SIM card slot. The additional benefit is that smart device manufacturers will be able to adopt the dustproof and waterproof designs more easily, and devices themselves will become thinner and lighter. In conjunction with the eSIM RSP service developed, the eSIM is processed on devices throughout the entire lifecycle.

At present, corresponding digital security chips have been developed for applications in different industries. The details are as follows:

Industrial manufacturing (standard edition NI20 series)
The deployment of Eastcompeace's eSIM card has a lot of advantages and is helpful to adopt cellular connections in industrial environments. The eSIM card occupies a small space and allows equipment manufacturers to improve the design flexibility. M2M communication in the Internet of Things (IoT) requires reliable data collection and uninterrupted data transmission. In order to make full use of the ubiquitous mobile network, Eastcompeace offers eSIM (NI20 series and EI20XIL) cards using micro wafer-level chip size packaging. Manufacturers of industrial machines and equipment from vending machines to remote sensors and asset trackers can take these advantages to optimize the design of IoT devices without affecting security and quality.

Automobile industry (standard edition NV20 series)
The biggest problem solved by the Eastcompeace eSIM technology in the field of intelligent connected vehicles is how to achieve the connectivity management.
There are about 70 to 80 countries with a large scale of automobile production and millions of models in the world, which means that each automobile manufacturer may produce various kinds of products. This is a great challenge for logistics, production scheduling, sales and cross-regional goods allocation. With the eSIM, the advantages of global unified models can be fully utilized, including vehicle electronics, which can basically achieve global unification. One terminal product can solve the sales problem in all regions of the world.
